"The whole point of rugby is that it is, first and foremost, a state of mind, a spirit."
The season is drawing to a close with the 1st XV fighting to stay in 3rd place and the 2nd team looking to continue their post Christmas renaissance. Also there is a small matter of the Bedfordshire Junior Cup Final to be played against Swifts at Swifts on Wednesday 26th March under the floodlights kick off 8pm.
The next big date for your calenders is Saturday April 26th: The Annual Ladies Dinner and Awards Ceremony - at a cost of just £27.50 per person you can enjoy a Champagne cocktail on arrival, free Raffle, a 3 course meal with wine on the table followed by dancing into the small hours with music provided by a local DJ. Bring your wife, partner, mistress, mum or just turn up on your own to celebrate the end of the season with your team mates! If you work for a generous company who can supply a decent raffle prize please contact Martin, details on the contacts page.
Finally the AGM will soon be upon us, as usual we will be holding elections for Committee positions - if you think you can give some time in helping behind the scenes please step forward! Afterall without the committee there would be no rugby club...
Finally finally - players get down to training to finish the season off in style!
